Where the idea started
It started with a simple frustration.
Sometimes you know exactly what you want to eat. Other times, you just want to look at a few menus, compare your options, and decide what sounds good.
That should be easy.
Too often, it isn't.
You find a menu and wonder whether it's still current. Another restaurant only has a partial menu available in a photo, making it difficult to see the full selection. Somewhere else, the menu is difficult to find or navigate. Or, you can't view the menu without first starting the online ordering process.
You search for a particular dish and find restaurants—but not necessarily whether they actually serve it. You check social media to see if there's a current special, then somewhere else to find out what's happening tonight.
A simple dining decision turns into a search across the internet.
